Trans Celebration is a trans-led, grassroots human rights and community organisation dedicated to highlighting issues affecting trans and gender-diverse people in the United Kingdom and improving the quality of their lives.
We work tirelessly to protect and promote the basic rights and services needed by our trans community. At Trans Celebration, we have monthly awareness campaigns that celebrate and educate Trans and non-binary people on gender diversity via channels such as Fashion, Arts and Beauty. We advocate for inclusivity, so trans-friendly products can be more accessible to trans and gender non-conforming people.
Robyn Electra, originally from Nigeria but now living in Liverpool, is the CEO and founder of Trans Celebration and Gaff and Go, the UK's 'first' transgender lingerie brand catering for pre-op transgender women, non-binary people and those who tuck.
As a transgender woman herself, Robyn knows all too well about dealing with the pressure of fitting into what society deems as 'women enough.' Having gained the courage to be who she really is, she wants to help others along their transitioning journey.
Richard has been heavily involved in the transgender community for over a decade. He is a transgender photography specialist. In addition, he designs and maintains websites for the LGBTQ+ world. The Trans Celebration website is an example of hiw work. Other example include his photography website, the new Beaumont Society website and the Transliving website. Richard, together with his friend Brandy, organises events for the transgender community in the South East.
