About Us

TRANS CELEBRATION

Trans Celebration is a trans-led, grassroots human rights and community organisation dedicated to highlighting issues affecting trans and gender-diverse people in the United Kingdom and improving the quality of their lives.

We work tirelessly to protect and promote the basic rights and services needed by our trans community.

OUR WORK

FASHION

Trans Celebration is a UK-based LGBTQ+ Human Rights and Community organisation that supports trans and gender non-conforming people to access clothes and gender-affirming products like Gaffs (Tucking Gaffs) and Binders to help solve the problem of gender dysphoria. Gender dysphoria is when there is a mismatch between your biological sex and gender identity.

A Gaff is an underwear designed specifically for tucking. Tucking is the practice of arranging and supporting external genitals between the legs via clothing like gaffs. Some women, transfeminine folks and femme-of-centre folks choose to wear a gaff underneath their day-to-day clothing to smooth out the appearance of their pelvic area.

A chest binder is anything used to bind and flatten the breast tissue to minimise its outward appearance.

If you want to bind your chest, the Bond and Binder chest binder will work effectively to flatten your chest. Make sure to push your breasts down to make them flatter.

Cosmetics: we suggest and donate cosmetics products to trans women and also emphasise the importance of cosmetics brands that represent all genders, expressions, sexualities, pronouns, shapes and sizes. As well as providing vegan and cruelty-free makeup products, we help bring our beautiful community together.

Trans Celebration supports trans individuals with fashion, makeup and wellness resources that will help them solve the problem of Gender dysphoria.

At Trans Celebration, we aim to work with mainstream retailers to make them more trans-friendly and gender-inclusive in their product ranges and catalogues. We also highlight the importance of using Trans Models and Gender non-conforming people in promotional campaigns and photoshoots.

Fashion is extremely important in the trans and gender non-conforming communities. Many trans people suffer from gender dysphoria, and having the right clothes and products is an important step towards solving the problem.

The euphoria is real when we can get rid of those aspects of gender dysphoria that could potentially lead to us being misgendered. So it is very important to have clothing that fits right, and solves the problems it was designed for.

At Trans Celebration, monthly workshops are organised so that clothing and products can be donated to trans and gender non-conforming people who have difficulties accessing trans-friendly products; this might be for a variety of reasons, including low-income and unsupportive family members.

“KEEP ME FIT SOCIALS” by Trans Sports and Fitness

Trans Sports and Fitness was created to get trans, QTIPOC and non-binary people into exercise and healthy living to help anyone who feels their transgender identity makes participating in sports and fitness difficult.

The objective of TSF (Trans Sports and Fitness) is to make sure we can engage Trans People in activities, both sporting and social, by providing a safe space for this to happen.

TSF hopes to resolve and avoid some of the barriers that are stopping trans people, together with gender non-conforming people, from accessing sports.

Trans Celebration is a human rights and community organisation for trans and gender-diverse people in the United Kingdom; we work tirelessly to protect and promote the basic rights and services our community needs, including the right to physical exercise and social get-togethers.

Trans Celebration has created “Keep Me Fit Socials” – a fitness and wellbeing social programme designed to bring together and encourage members of the trans and gender non-conforming community to do more sports and to recognise the importance of physical exercise. We have partnered with LGBTQ+ friendly gyms and gym instructors so they can help us take part in monthly get-together fitness sessions that will benefit our community members. The advantages of fitness go a long way to help improve our mental health and overall wellbeing.

We run our Keep Me Fit Socials in partnership with local gyms in your vicinity. These gyms are LGBTQ+ friendly gyms.

TRANS + INCLUSION

Trans Celebration, being a community organisation, believes in inclusivity. We all deserve the right to education, basic social services and inclusivity in the workplace.

We have cooperated with a few organisations to help them draft more inclusive workplace programmes that will include members of the LGBTQI community.

Thanks to the above, many companies now understand the importance of inclusivity in the workplace.
